PubMed, a free database provided by the National Library of Medicine, provides over 26 million citations from biomedical research. As a UTHSC faculty, staff, clinician, or researcher, you have access to many of the citations found in this awesome database via the library’s subscriptions. This class will cover:
- improving keyword searching
- searching for medical subject headings (MESH)
- using PubMed filters and other ways to narrow down your search results
- creating and using your NCBI (PubMed account)
- Q and A time at the end of the session
