Crawford Book Signing and Reception at Mooney Library
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center is proud to be part of the tapestry of Dr. Alvin Crawford’s history, and we are extremely excited about the publication of his autobiography, The Bone Doctor's Concerto: Music, Surgery, and the Pieces in Between.
Alvin Crawford, MD '64, FAOA, was the first African-American graduate of the UTHSC College of Medicine in 1964. In celebration of this momentous occasion, we are hosting a book signing and reception for Dr. Crawford on Monday, February 26, from 6–8 p.m. CST in the Mooney Library on the UT Health Science Center Campus.
