Event box
In this session, we will review the concept of health literacy and its impacts on the communities we serve. We will explore issues related to online health information, and tools libraries can use to help patrons evaluate online health information resources. Throughout the session, participants will reflect on their own experiences in providing consumer health information support and services within their libraries. Participants will also be introduced to online consumer health information tools and resources available to further support the health information needs of their communities.
We will be selecting several webinar participants to win over $100 worth of free consumer health information books and resources for their library!
